At Masterclass we use RACEGLAZE products which we chose for their outstanding performance both in terms of the protection and finish achieved. In a nutshell the RACEGLAZE system gives a superb finish.
A Complete RACEGLAZE wax treatment consists of a special 4-stage process. To give you a clear picture of what's involved, our brief explanation follows:
STAGE
1 - Washing
Firstly we thoroughly wash the bodywork with RACEGLAZE 'Aqua Bathe', a very high quality effective PH-Neutral Biodegradable shampoo containing an exceptionally high percentage of Carnauba wax it's unique formula cuts through dirt and insect/bug squash, yet preserving the wax.
Aqua Bathe washes are available throughout the year as part of an on-going protection programme (see detailing options) in order to maintain the finish following a full wax treatment.
STAGE 2 - Cleaning
During the cleaning stage, we then remove embedded dirt particles, bonded industrial and environmental contaminants including tar, overspray and fallout using RACEGLAZE 'Clay Glaze' paint surface cleaning system.
A detailing clay used in collaboration with a special lubricant to leave an ultra-clean surface.
STAGE 3 - Polishing (Restoring & Preserving)
Next we prepare and polish the paint surface to a high gloss using "RACEGLAZE" 'Paint Cleanse' a pre-wax cleaner, eliminating light scratches, oxidised paint, road grime and other impurities, nourishing the paint surface and revitalizing depth of colour and shine leaving an ultra smooth finish. Also known as the 'Pre-Wax' stage, this important part of the treatment process is vital - as it will ensure successful adhesion between the wax and the paint surface.
STAGE 4 - Waxing (Protection & Enhancement)
Finally we seal the paint surface with one of 'Race Glaze's' magnificent 'Signature Series' Carnauba waxes leaving a rich, deep wet-look glaze.
The applied coating of Carnauba wax bonds to the surface and sets hard providing a durable protective coating against the elements.
